Recently , the startup and shutdown scripts were replaced by the pulse.sh script, the one stop shop for all your pulse needs.
For windows users, this means that they need to start pulse via the command line or via a service. They no longer have the option of double clicking in the .bat file. So, it is time to reintroduce these helper scripts to aid startup and shutdown for evaluating users.
