I presume this is because the view cannot handle the files not being available, even though the database already has the artifacts, but I am not sure. The files themselves are not captured until the end of a stage, when the recipe output is transferred back to the master.
The behaviour I see is "can not find file" errors when expanding nodes while the build is in progress.
