Column customization broken in Safari

Created: 01/Dec/06 05:31 PM   Updated: 17/Jan/07 05:37 AM
Component/s: Web UI
Affects Version/s: 1.2.6
Fix Version/s: 1.2.13

Environment: Safari 2.0.4 on OS X 10.4

 Description  « Hide
The column customization widget has some issues in Safari:

 - none of the checkboxes can be clicked with the mouse (or rather have no effect when clicked), although they can be accessed using the keyboard (tab + space)
 - dragging an column to reorder causes duplicates of that column to appear at the end

Maybe it *is* time for you to invest in that Mac ;)

Testing in Konqueror (the closest browser I have at hand to Safari) I was not able to reproduce these issues. We are planning to add a Mac to our build farm, so yes: perhaps now is the time ;).

Fixed in change 2888. It was a tricky one to track down: it turned out that making the popup draggable broke the checkboxes on Safari. Now the popup is only draggable by its header, and all is well.
