Add a remote API that allows you to create a project

Created: 13/Oct/06 12:17 AM   Updated: 03/Nov/06 11:56 PM
Component/s: Remote API
Affects Version/s: None
Fix Version/s: 1.2.2

 Description  « Hide
It would be really cool if there were a remote API that would allow me to create a project from some other client. I am trying to automate new projects being added to all our tools and right now I don't have a way to do this with Pulse.

I am tentatively scheduling this for 1.2, although it is unlikely to make the first 1.2 series release.

So that we can get the first 1.2 beta release out, I am shifting this to 1.2.1

The remote API now supports create / edit / delete / lookup of projects and the core components - the scm and the project specifics.

Full details will be available in the documentation.

Fantastic! That will make my life easier.

Hi Todd,

I have added functions that allow you to create/edit/delete/view projects and to edit/view the scm and project type details. This is as far as it goes for now. At some stage in the future we will open up the related components such as triggering, cleanup rules, build specifications and artifacts. If you specifically need any of these now, please let me know so that I can add them in. I am not adding them all in now due to time constraints with getting 1.2 completed and out the door.

Cheers,
-Daniel
