It would be great for first-time users if there was a user "setup process" that was triggered when the user first logged in. This might include:
* Configuring contact points (pulling in email (
CIB-494) and Jabber details)
* Configuring which projects the user is "subscribed" to
* Dashboard behaviour
Without doing this, the user is left to go and subscribe to projects, while this (hopefully) forces them to do it at the very start.
As something even better (but probably for a new feature request), if we could pull "groups" from LDAP and define which projects members of the group "belong" to, the user could then automatically be "subscribed" to those projects when they first login/create their account.
